Crime Scene Basics For
First Responders

This instruction will focus on the role of a

first responder at a crime scene and how

to reduce crime scene contamination.  Discussions also include legal concerns at

a crime scene, the impact of the potential destruction of evidence, and how first responders can assist with an investigation.

More Than Just A Job -
A Career In Law Enforcement   

This instruction will introduce middle

school students to the basic job functions

of a police officer/deputy sheriff, a career where no one day is like another.

Discussions will include preparing for

training, traffic safety, crime prevention, investigations, crime scenes, basic first

aid, and decision making.
