female leaders will be examined.

This instruction provides

criminal justice professionals

their understanding of

the sensitivity and necessity

for awareness of

the LGBTQ IA+ community.

This instruction will focus on the role of a

first responder at a crime scene and how

to reduce crime scene contamination. Discussions also include legal concerns at

a crime scene, the impact of the potential destruction of evidence, and how first responders can assist with an investigation.

This instruction provides first responders

with information to increase their understanding of the necessity for

sensitivity and awareness when interacting

with the LGBTQ IA+ community.

This instruction will introduce middle

school students to the basic job functions

of a police officer/deputy sheriff, a career where no one day is like another.

Discussions will include preparing for

training, traffic safety, crime prevention, investigations, crime scenes, basic first

aid, and decision making.
